ASHLEE DHANESS

Ashlee Dhaness originally from Tampa Florida with her family background from Guyana started her musical career at the age of 10. She started learning with her first music teacher, Rokesh Anand Sarju, which led her to start singing in Mandir. She progressed and started to learn with another music teacher, Shankh Lahiri practicing Indian classical music. Singing and playing harmonium became a passion of hers and will always remain a focus for her. As she got older she branched out and started learning Bollywood and chutney music  which opened up a whole new door for her by gaining new experiences and enjoying music even more.
Her musical inspirations are Lata Mangeshkar, Shreya Goshal, Rakesh Yankaran, Babla & Kanchan, Rokesh Sarju, and Ravi Mohan. With listening and learning from these people Ashlee continues to learn and progress with music, and enjoy gaining new experiences along her musical journey. She looks forward to all of the opportunities that are headed her way along with all the support that she has received thus far.
